Emotion of fear and weight

The thoughts we think and emotions we feel have a direct effect on our body. E-motion is energy in motion and the only way it can be expressed is through our body.

Fear is an emotion we all feel as humans.

Like any other emotion, fear helps us to navigate life’s situations.

However, accumulated thoughts of fear lead to weight gain.

Fear and its play :D

Louise L Hay, metaphysical teacher and author of Heal Your Body, says, our body adds fat as layers of protection for the emotions of fear we refuse to acknowledge, express and release.

Why do we find it hard to acknowledge fear?

When we are brought up in homes where emotions are not expressed, as adults we don’t have models to rely on. Acknowledging fear requires one to be vulnerable. Vulnerability could be new and uncomfortable.

However, vulnerability is a mental muscle that we can exercise and get comfortable with.

Start small, you could begin by sharing your fears with a trusted friend. If that’s a big step, start putting your fears down on paper, self-acknowledging them first.

What we resist, persists. Its no different with fear.

Acknowledge, be present and allow fear, it will have no power over you.

As you get comfortable being vulnerable with yourself, it becomes easier to do so with another.

Our emotions play a vital role in experiencing vibrant health and ideal weight. Would you allow your emotions to be?
